AUTO TECHNICIAN (GRAYSLAKE) | Labor Job Central

Fast growing auto repair looking for a responsable auto technician that can work on all type of car
uropean and asian cars prefered

Job Responsibilities

Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency
Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc.
Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs after a thorough vehicle inspection process.
Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisor and customers.
Document work performed on each vehicle on the repair order using the concern, cause and correction format.
Testing vehicles before and after repair.
Maintain manufacturer training.
To provide superior customer service at all times.

Requirements
High school diploma or the equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of experience as an automotive technician (automotive mechanic)
Hold a valid driver?s license.
Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
ASE certifications are preferred.
Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.
Working knowledge of shop equipment such as lab scope some oem computer, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.)
Good judgement, and a positive attitude are a must.
