Maingear and Origin now stocking GeForce GTX 690 cards, will probably run Crysis
Gaming stalwarts Maingear and Origin have casually announced that the duo will now happily sell you a rig packing NVIDIA's beast of a graphics card, the GeForce GTX 690. The $1,000 hardware packs two 28mm Kepler GPUs and is tipped to be the world's fastest graphics card -- unless you work in an NVIDIA testing lab, we suppose.

Toshiba sings NAND Flash's praises, thinks you should too
Have you taken a moment today to stop and thank NAND Flash for existing? No? Well, Toshiba would like to say tsk, tsk. Today the company launched a full-scale campaign to promote this storage technology -- and by full-scale we mean a dedicated "25 Years of NAND Flash" website, a "NAND Flash Deprivation Experiment" video series, new Facebook and Twitter accounts and a Toshiba Excite 10 giveaway. We must have missed the memo that NAND was dangerously underappreciated, because we're still trying to figure out why it needs a marketing campaign of its own. Toshiba has a slew of laptop refreshes and the Excite 7.7 and 13 tablets just around the corner -- and that interim period between announcement and launch date can be killer -- but somehow talking up NAND Flash doesn't seem the right course of action. Take a look at the campaign's first video below the break and decide for yourself.

FLINT, Mich. (AP) ? Defense lawyers acknowledge that DNA will be hard evidence to overcome in the first trial linked to a series of stabbings that killed five people in Michigan and injured many more in summer 2010.
Victims who survived the late-night attacks in the Flint area, 60 miles north of Detroit, say Elias Abuelazam would ask for directions or help with his Chevy Blazer before stabbing them and speeding away. Jury selection starts Tuesday in the death of Arnold Minor, a 49-year-old whose body was found in the middle of a busy street.
Police say Minor's DNA was discovered in dried blood in Abuelazam's SUV and inside luggage that was seized as he tried to flee to his native Israel in August 2010.
"DNA's tough ? it just is," defense attorney Brian Morley said in an interview. "He's ready. He understands the evidence. He understands what's going on."
Abuelazam, 35, is charged with three murders and six attempted murders in the Flint area, although authorities believe he's responsible for as many as 14 stabbings. Prosecutors will be allowed to tell jurors about some of the other attacks because they were similar.
Morley and co-counsel Ed Zeineh are prepared to offer an insanity defense, claiming Abuelazam was mentally ill when Minor was killed. They've lined up an expert to talk about his mental state, but a decision about pursuing that strategy won't be publicly disclosed until trial. Prosecutors have their own experts who have examined Abuelazam and are prepared to rebut it.
"The question is: Is there legal culpability if there was an insane person at the time of the crime?" Morley said. "That's the jury's domain."
Abuelazam had lived in Flint only for a brief time in a house owned by an uncle who lived next door. He had spent time in Virginia before landing in Michigan and getting a $10-an-hour job at a liquor store in a tough neighborhood.
He is also charged with attempted murder in Toledo, Ohio, and suspected but not charged in attacks in Leesburg, Va.

Meet the 3-in-1 Rocker-Napper

- Rocker easily converts from seat to comfy napper.
- Soothing movements rock your baby at all 3 reclining positions.
- Flat pad with raised borders offers a safe & cozy napper environment.
- Cute electronic toy dangles on an adjustable arm.
Tiny Love Rocker-Napper Review
The 3-in-1 Rocker-Napper is a unique baby product that does more than its fair share to entertain and soothe baby. The Rocker-Napper transitions easily among three recline positions from seated to laying down. There?s a small handle on the back side that reclines the seat, functioning much like ?a stroller seat reclines. When fully reclined, the Napper creates a bassinet with a soft bottom and raised edges to create a cozy environment for baby. As you raise the seat, the borders collapse. The bottom of the metal frame of the Rocker-Napper is rounded and there are two arms that hold the seat still or encourage rocking. There?s also an optional all-over calming vibration movement throughout the seat.
A cushion lays on the bottom of the Rocker-Napper to create a soft spot for baby to rest or play. The cushion ties to the frame of the Rocker-Napper at the top and the bottom. The only issue we?ve encountered is that when the seat is upright, the weight of the baby pulls the cushion down a bit. You can see a little gap at the top in this photo of Max sleeping in the fully reclined Napper mode.
The toy on the Rocker-Napper is the very first toy that has earned Max?s attention. It has two lights, two hanging toys and plays music and, without a doubt, it entertains a baby. Just check out this series of photos of Max in the seat. He was staring at the toys while I snapped pictures?
I?m pretty sure the smile on his face in the bottom right photo says more than this entire review possibly could!
To Buy or Not to Buy
To Buy? The 3-in-1 Rocker-Napper is a versatile seat, bouncer, rocker and bassinet all in one. We love that it will grow with your child and earn mom some much needed break time.
Or Not to Buy? We?d love more ties or more securely attach the pad to the base of the Rocker-Napper so that it doesn?t create the gap.
